The Story of this Project...

Chelsea O'Brian has been involved with Create Change since it's inception, and has even been to Ghana where she spent time organizing and distributing uniforms for sponsored gilrs. Now, Thirteen girls at Vitting Senior High School will have their lives changed this year because of Chelsea O'Brian and her group's support.

Vitting Senior High is located just outside Tamale town, where girls board there from rural villages from all over Northern Ghana. The girls who qualify for senior high school have fought to be there, many having gone through school without access to electricity, proper textbooks, and even enough food.

Once these girls gain admission, the challenge does not stop there. The fees for one year of secondary school are often half of a family's annual earnings. Although most girls engage in hard labour during their holidays, they are not able to save even close to enough to pay for their fees. Proper text books and boarding supplies are unthinkable purchases.

Join Chelsea and her friends today to assist these bright young ladies to escape the poverty that stands between them and their potential.
