The Story of this Project...

In an effort to create positive change in the world, Jocelyne and Cy have decided to ask for an unconventional gift: a 30 000 litre rain water harvesting tank which they would like to build in Northern Ghana.
Suariya Primary School lies in a region of Ghana where there is no rainfall for six months of the year, so water becomes a scarce commodity. The school has no source of water, and children are forced to walk long distances to find water while they are in school. Nearby water sources in the community are often unavailable or unclean and cause the children to suffer from a variety of water borne diseases. Having the children leave school to fetch water also impacts greatly on the quality of the education they receive.
Over the next few months, Jocelyne and Cy hope you will get involved to make a difference as a part of their wedding celebration. They are asking friends and family to consider giving in support of their generous spirits.
It's easy to donate.
