The Story of this Project...
Through the generous donation of so many generous people, over 1120 children now have a clean source of drinking water to depend on during their days at school.
"We have organized this today... to say thank you to Create Change for changing our lives"
- Mariama, Head Teacher, Taha Primary School
A tank takes about three weeks to build. The community members provide water and some menial labour, while an experienced construction team is hired to carry out the more complicated work. The whole operation is overseen by Create Change's Water and Sanitation Officer.
"Every time we come to the school we fetch from the tank. The water has really helped us so much"
- Ibrahim, Student, Kulaa Primary School
The schools held appreciation ceremonies in order to express their gratitude to everyone who donated to make it possible.
Please watch the school videos to find out about the wonderful change that you have created, which will last far into the future. We hope you are as proud as we are.
