Revitalize a primary school: Revitalize Dungu Primary!
The Story of this Project...
Dungu community is impoverished, and most children cannot even afford the basic supplies of an exercise book and pencil, which only cost 35 cents. Children are at school with torn uniforms, generally 4 children sit at desks built for 2. Teachers will bring pencils at times, but will break it in two so at least children can do some basic math problems.
With your support, Create Change plans to transform Dungu Primary School through the provision of reading and writing materials, desks, renewed chalk boards, teachers guides, art supplies, and a first aid kit (many students have open sores but have no way to clean them and dress them). This project will have a great impact on the quality of education provided at Dungu Primary, so that children from Dungu will have the necessary base to move on to high school.
