Residents from Taha community live without a basic need most of us take for granted: clean water. The dam water that Taha residents are drinking on a daily basis is riddled with diseases, causing extremely poor health in the community.

To most of us, the idea of spending all day in a place without water would be unheard of. Yet the majority of rural schools in Northern Ghana do not have access to running water.

Since this project was initiated in 2007, Create Change has witnessed change in the lives of over 300 girls who have a dream of getting an education so they can pull themselves and their families out of poverty. Help to show the world what a girl can do if she is given a chance.

Kulaa Community's Rain Water Harvesting Tank has been completely funded! Construction of the tank is currently tanking place, so that community residents will have access to clean drinking water year round. We will have a video update of the project's implementation coming soon!

The Ghana Girls Project has once again been implemented for the 2009-2010 school year. Because of our generous donors, we were able to initiate change in the lives of over 300 students. Watch to find out the work involved, and the wonderful difference it made to the lives of hundreds of girls.
