ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

Over the past 5 years, Create Change has supported over 400 hundred students to gain valuable skills and experience that transforms youth into leaders who know how to get things done. Past participants have gone on to receive scholarships, win awards, and have helped to educate and empower dozens of girls living in extreme poverty.

Create Change Youth Programs are ideal for students who want to learn concrete skills, grow their confidence, and to get real world experience working on social justice issues.

We are pleased to announce that we are now able to offer this amazing program to students across Canada through a virtual classroom platform. All of our youth programs are offered pro-bono thanks to our generous supporters who make our work with Canadian youth possible.

PROGRAM FOCUS

Create Change youth programs are dedicated to transforming students into agents of change in three ways. First, programs focus on building students’ tangible skills in areas such as marketing, team building, and leadership. Secondly, through mentorship and coaching the program works to build students’ confidence and belief in their ability to affect change by showing them how to capitalize on their strengths and overcome fears. Lastly, students’ gain valuable real world experience as they put learned skills and newfound confidence to the test through the designing and implementing fundraising initiatives.
